 Sometimes, capturing real life is all it takes to create a great ad. This is the approach Voskhod took when creating a brand video for TBC Bank Uzbekistan. The creative team simply highlighted the real achievements of Uzbeks. Each of their stories encourages viewers to listen to their dreams, so that the brand can help make them a reality.

The film crew had the opportunity to meet Zafar Khoshimov, founder of Korzinka, Uzbekistan’s largest supermarket chain; to personally congratulate Eldor Shomurodov, captain of the national team and one of the country’s best soccer players, on qualifying for the World Cup; pet a few of the 2,000 dogs at animal rights activist Iroda Matkarimova’s “Hayot” shelter, and even befriend the future heroes of Uzbekistan, playing tag in the streets of the mahallas (as neighborhoods united by principles of good neighborliness are called in the country).


“Uzbekistan is currently in the process of developing brands with their own missions, ready to convey ideas rather than product features. We are proud to be part of this emerging trend, because only image-based communications enrich media culture and make advertising more interesting,” said Anton Rozhin, the agency’s creative director, about the project.
