Redesign of the House of Music
2026
Where does music begin? With the wave of a conductor’s baton? With the note "C"? Or with an opening chord? Each of these elements is reflected in the new visual identity developed by Voskhod for the House of Music in Yekaterinburg.
"It is an honor for us to contribute to the cultural life of our hometown. When developing the visual identity, we turned to musical notation—a language understood by both professionals and the general public. This led to the inclusion of a symbolic 'repeat sign,' a black-and-white palette, an expressive element mirroring the movement of a conductor’s hands, and, of course, the note 'C' (Do)—the starting point and foundation of the entire musical system," explains Brand Design Director Vladislav Derevyannykh.
The new visual identity will be integrated into the brand’s updated communications—ranging from posters and digital platforms to signage and promotional materials.
"The House of Music is about more than just concerts by the 'B-A-C-H' Chamber Orchestra or the 'Domestik' Choir. Our institution is a place where music becomes a powerful source of emotion—an energy that resonates with the pulse of Yekaterinburg, free from academic stuffiness or barriers," says Inga Mikhailovna Pavlyuchenko, Director of the House of Music.
